HISTORY

Incepted in the year 1983, with a vision to be a leader in Fast Moving Consumer Products Distribution, NOM has established it as one of the most professional and successful companies in Nepal.

A professional approach and ethical business practices have been the founding principles, which helped catapult the company as the market leader in an unorganized industry at the time. Backed by a skilled management team and a strong financial base, and under the vision and leadership capabilities of the founder, Mr. Pawan Agrawal, NOM has successfully launched various multinational brands in Nepal.

Nepal Overseas was also the sole distributor for Gillette for 17 years until the company was acquired by Procter & Gamble. During these years, the business witnessed an average annual growth of 40%. 

INFRASTRUCTURE

NOM’s Corporate Office is situated in the heart of Nepal’s business center, New Road. With more than 7000 sq. ft. space, it commands a strategic location to facilitate operations. Equipped with top of the line computers, modern office automation & conference facilities, NOM delivers unmatched efficiency and effectiveness.

An ultra-modern office and a state of the art warehouse are also under construction, which will double NOM’s warehousing capacity and provide a new corporate headquarters to strengthen its brand identity and  business expansion. A separate floor, entirely dedicated to our principal’s representatives in Nepal is also planned in this facility, in addition to a state of the art Conference center. 

SALES NETWORK

Nepal Overseas’ expansive network ensures optimum reach to retail & wholesale customers. In order to effectively penetrate the market & ensure prompt deliveries, we apply evolved sales distribution mechanics through Computerized Order Securing Systems, Mobile Sales Force Applications & GPS tracking of delivery vehicles. 

We have a sub-distributor network of more than 300 dealers, stationed in all major towns and cities, who ensure distribution to even the remotest of areas in Nepal. Our distribution network covers more than 25,000 retail outlets across the country.

The company also focuses on institutional sales to provide a comprehensive distribution service to any brand. The combined effort of our Sales & Distribution team to relentlessly power a mass penetration exercise has seen some of our brands achieve distribution penetration in excess of 85%, as per retail audit surveys.
